Notice the beads in the fringes and the double lines of hemstitching.
I agree, it is hard to choose between the "colored" side and the "white" side. I think it would depend on the day, lol.
The beads aren't stitched on, they are actually on the warp threads. Rather than trying to explain it here I think I'll do a post on it, complete with pictures (one day soon).
I think the 'white' side gives a softer look...but I like the 'coloured' side too! Hard to choose!

I think I'd go with the coloured side, although I sure wouldn't complain if I got stuck with the white side ;-)
