The back of the loom. Notice the "wires" in the loom? These are called "heddles" and the warp ends are threaded through, one end per heddle, after they are sleyed through the reed. They are then tied onto the back beam and rolled on. In this case I used slats from window blinds between layers of warp ends on the back beam, this is to keep the treads from tangling together and affecting your "web" as you weave it. Posted by Picasa
